Privacy

Pocket Workshop is run by Idistic, the product studio of TWINDLE NEDERLAND B.V. (the Netherlands). We collect as little as possible and nothing that identifies you.

Your progress

Saved boards, dailies, your streak and settings are stored in your browser’s local storage under keys starting with pw1:. They stay on your device and are not sent to us. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes them. Progress on other Idistic sites is stored separately by each site.

Analytics

We use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that we host ourselves at stats.idistic.com. It sets no cookies and builds no profile of you. It counts page views and a few game events, such as “a board was started”, “a board was solved in 14 moves with no reveals” or “a reveal was used”, with the board’s id, so we can see what people enjoy. It never receives your mirror arrangements or move-by-move history.

Offline play

To load quickly and work offline, your browser keeps a copy of the pages and files you open. This copy stays on your device.

“Share result” copies a short text with the board and your number of moves and reveals. Nothing is sent unless you paste it somewhere yourself.

Hosting

The site is hosted on a server in Germany (Hetzner). Like every web server, it briefly processes your IP address to deliver the page.
